Highlights: Recover the FP3 campaign in Monaco while Charles Leclerc sets the pace while Lewis crashes Hamilton

Charles Leclerc called for a hat trick of the fastest rounds in the three exercise sessions in Monaco when he finished his rivals again in FP3, but it was a disaster for the other side of the Ferrari garage when Lewis Hamilton released the red flags late.

The hero of the hometown Leclerc contested Max Verstappen and Lando Norris by almost three tenths when he made the fastest round of the weekend to have 1 m 10.953.

But it was anything but uncomplicated because the competition for a large part of the session between Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren was violent. After a strong exertion of the middle tires, the Timslieb was found after a strong effort of the middle tires.

It seemed that the final runs of the field would give minimal improvements before qualifying before Leclerc successfully chose his soft tires and became the driver.

His team -mate Hamilton found the wall in Massenet with only a few minutes and let his front right tire roll over the racetrack when the session was brought to an early end. His earlier lap time brought him P5 directly behind Oscar Piatri, with Alex Albon, Liam Lawson, Carlos Sainz and Yuki Tsunoda rounded off the top 10.
