This year's Met Gala will take place on Monday, May 5th, and the topic for the exhibition is Superfine: adaptation of the black style – Drawing from the book by Monica L. Miller 2009, book, Slaves to fashion: black dandyism and the styling of black diasporic identity. The exhibition of the costume institute that celebrates the event focuses on the “style of black men in the context of dandyism, from the 18th century to the present”.

This year's co-chair are Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, a $ Ap Rocky, Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour and Honorary Libron James.
