Northampton Saints and Union Bordeaux-Bègles will come together in the diluted atmosphere of the Principality Stadium with the ultimate price in the European Club Rugby: The Investec Champions Cup.

For the saints, this is a shot of redemption – 14 years after their heartbreaking defeat against Leinster in this stadium. The men in green, black and gold are determined to raise the trophy for the second time, their last come in 2000.

Bordeaux, unnoticed by the story, arrives at her first Champions Cup final with confidence. Under the direction of Dynamic Backs Damian Penaud and Louis Bielle Biearrey, UBB illuminated the tournament with their strong attack.

In the meantime, Northampton's Fin Smith and Henry Pollock will try to disturb Bordeaux's rhythm and bring back European fame to Franklin's gardens.
