Delhi's assembly has against the leader of the opposition, Atishi and three other AAM AADMI party (AAP) MLAS, which is said to have internal discussions of a general meeting of the AAM purpose (GPC), in which a proposal for the installation of portraits of “national icons” was adopted.

The announcements published on Thursday follow a complaint that was submitted by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAS and in the middle of a controversy around the proposed installation of a portrait of the pioneering educator and the social reformer Savitribai Phule.

BJP complaint

While the BJP AAP accused of distorting facts and violating the protocol by publicly portraying a verbal proposal as a blocked proposal, the AAP leaders struck back, and claimed that the “Kaststische Memorial of the BJP” was behind the rejection of honoring phule, and thwarted the note as an attempt to “examine her voses”.

According to the deputy spokesman Mohan Singh bisht, the BJP boss Peits ABIY Verma and the party leader Raj Kumar Bhatia and Tilak Ram Gupa made a complaint submitted by AAP members a temporary proposal about Phules portrait.

“We were shocked when we found out that AAP twisted Mata Savitribai Phules portrait, ”says the complaint.

The BJP leaders argued that the unveiling of the internal considerations of the committee was a “serious violation of the privilege” and accused AAP of pursuing a “political and mischievous agenda”.

“There was no written proposal,” said assembly officer, who confirmed that the matter was only levied orally. Instead, the committee approved portraits of VD Savarkar, Dayananda Saraswati and Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, as announced by spokesman Vijender Gupta after the GPC meeting on Wednesday.

A high -ranking official from the AAP meeting in Delhi called the remarks of the AAP False, misleading and politically motivated and warned of possible measures. The secretariat urged the media presentation before reporting on privileged procedures. Spokesman Gupta rejected a statement.

The secretariat of the assembly has asked Ms. Atishi together with AAP MLAS Kuldeep Kumar, Veer Singh Dhingan and Chaudhry Zubair to submit written answers to the complaint by May 30th.

AAP counter

The former deputy spokesman and senior -AAP leader Rakhi Bidlan accused the BJP of housing a “patriarchal way of thinking”.

“This is not only political arrogance, but also a direct insult to the legacy of the first Dalit woman in Dalit,” said Ms. Bidlan.

“When our MLAs tried to bring the problem through the media to the public, a dictatorial attitude was accepted and four mlas were delivered. Mata Savitribai Phule is not an ordinary personality. She opened the first school for girls in 1848, ”said Ms. Bidlan.

Mr. Kumar repeated the feeling and said that it was such a serious crime to demand the portrait of the Dalit teacher in the meeting that they were served for privileges.

“Perhaps this is a crime in the eyes of the BJP that is punishable due to hanging,” he added.
