Eagles' Nakobe Dean, which uses ballet to rehab

The LineBacker of Philadelphia Eagles Nakobe Dean pursues an unconventional approach to rehabilitation in the torn patellar tendon, which he suffered in the playoffs last season.

Dean said Brendan Brightman and Matt Delucia from NBC 10 in Philadelphia that he took part in ballet in a local company called Balletx.

The 24-year-old LineBacker explained how Ballet helped with his recovery, and said: “Of course there is a lot more flexibility. Far more mobility. It is definitely something that helps with my rehab. You only feel a change.

Dean noticed that he is “not interested in ballet”, he believes that “mobility work and stretching” are advantageous.

The former outstanding university of Georgia added: “My whole tries to be the absolute best version of me. For me, the size is. If I try to be every day every day and do everything that is necessary to be.”

Originally a selection of the third round of the Eagles in the NFL design 2022, Dean only played limited snapshots as a rookie and missed all to five games in 2023 due to a foot injury.

Last season, however, he won a starting job and was excess and ended with 128 tackles, nine duels for losses, three sacks and a interception in 15 starts.

Dean founded a highly productive LineBacker duo with Zack Baun, which had signed with the Eagles this low season after taking fifth place in the NFL defensive player of the year last season.

As soon as he had returned from an injury, Dean could be exposed to a strong competition for his starting job in 2025.

The Eagles used No. 31 in the first round of the NFL design of 2025 NFL, Jihaad Campbell, which was widely considered the best off-ball linacker in his class.

In his last college season in Alabama, Campbell put 117 duels and five sacks together, which was a very real threat, even if Dean is healthy.

Dean is currently concentrating on his recovery and is in the position to again be an important artist for the defending Super Bowl Champions when he is clarified.
