Despite the opening of two months before the schedule, Terminal T3 has experienced repeated incidents since it started a little more than a month ago.

A video recorded by a passenger shows rainwater that streams from the glass roof into the lobby and luggage carousel areas. The staff prevailed to wipe the water to prevent it from affecting the waiting area.

In addition to water leaks, the stone floor of the terminal remains incomplete, with dangerous gaps between tiles. A female passenger who flew from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi on April 29 almost reported that her high heel was caught in one of the gaps.

In response, the leaders of Vietnam (CAV) confirmed the civil aviation authority (CAAV) that they had received reports on construction errors at the Terminal T3.

“These defects have a negative impact on service quality. In order to maintain high service standards for passengers, CaAV asked the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) and Tan Son Nhat's international airport to check all problems that arise during the terminal operation to ensure security and convenience,” said a representative of the CAAV -Pere representative.

The CaAV also commissioned the authority of the Southern Airports to increase the monitoring of passenger mines, bod development and technical service quality on the terminal T3 while he immediately reports and resolves.

The Terminal T3 invested by ACV has a total investment of almost 11 trillion and (approx. $ 432 million). The construction started at the end of 2022 and the terminal was inaugurated on April 19.
