Toms River – A Bruce Springsteen tributband that lost on May 30th in a Toms River Restaurant after Springsteen had made derogatory comments about President Donald Trump, while on tour in England instead he should appear in the oasis of the headliner in Neptune.

No surrender, previously known as Asbury Fever, is based on the “ultimate Springsteen tribute”. The nine-member band was planned to play in Riv's Toms River Hub, a Hooper Avenue Bar and a restaurant where live music is often carried out. But the band's bass player, Gus Fleming, said no handover was contacted after Springsteen criticized comments in each of his three shows in Manchester, Great Britain last week.

The appearance was planned months in advance, said band members.

“Unfortunately, the owner contacted us after Bruce made comments that annoy him. The owner told us that he didn't want us to play in his club. Our answer was simply,” Fleming wrote on Facebook.

“We understood that it was his establishment and felt terrible that he was so annoyed. We offered to play completely different music. He explained to him that all nine people in the band are professional musicians who play in numerous different bands, and if they book us months in advance, we have this data as they are booked. If they cancel a week in advance. He had booked to play in his club.

He said: “His clientele and Toms River are red and do not tolerate his bulls-:” Fleming relatives.

The Bright-Red Toms River supported President Trump in the 2024 elections, and all seven members of the municipality and Mayor Daniel Rodrick are Republicans.

Riv's belongs to Tony Rivoli, and the band members said after the dispute had become public, he did not give himself a handover and said they could play the show as originally booked. But the band declined and will play in the headliner that evening.

The band's headliner show was arranged by his Jesse James Productions by the local concert promoter Jesse Warren.
