2-vehicle crash leaves 3 dead in marinette County

Stephenson, Wis. (WLUC) – After an accident with two vehicles in Stephenson, Wisconsin, on Friday evening.

According to Marinette County's office, Dispatch received a crash report on County Highway A in the Moonshine Hill Road at 9:22 p.m.

The department says that 60-year-old Daniel W. Mrotek from Berlin, Wisconsin, on which Moonshine Hill Road had traveled west when he did not stop at a stop sign. Mrotek fell into a vehicle that drove north on the County Highway A, which was driven by 71-year-old Thomas J. Robe from Oak Creek, Wisconsin.

The police say that Mrotek has not worn a seat belt. He was ejected from his vehicle and died of his injuries.

Robe also suffered fatal injuries together with the passenger in his vehicle, 68-year-old Sharon R. Robe.

The crash is examined by the Marinette County Sheriff's Office and the Marinette County Medical Examiner.
