Teen killed, 4 injured while shooting in Chester, Pennsylvania – NBC10 Philadelphia

A teenager was killed, four more were injured, and during a shootout at a big party in Chester, Pennsylvania, several houses and apartments of shots were met late Friday evening, the police said.

On Friday, May 23, at 10:47 p.m., the officials reacted to a reported active shootout north of the Chester police headquarters along the 200 Block of East 10th Street.

The responding officers discovered two people who ran and heard from several other people. The officers then discovered a 16-year-old boy who did not react and suffered from gunshot wounds in the front stages of a house in East 10th Street. The boy – who has not yet been identified – was declared dead at the crime scene.

When the police in the house paid attention to other victims, they found a pistol at the bottom of the steps in the living room.

They also found three other victims aged 26, 16 and 25 who had been hit by shots. They then found a fifth shooting victim, a 21-year-old who had suffered a wavy wound backwards.

The 21-year-old was treated at the scene and informed the police that at the time of the shootout they discovered a dark sedan with tinted windows in the area.

The police then recovered several used sleeves on the street and in the back yard of the house, which indicates that there was a change of shooting. You also recovered a second weapon from the basement of the house.

They also found two apartments near the 1000 Madison Street and another house in the 200 Block of East 10th Street, which were hit by shots. No injuries were reported in these three locations, the police said.

The four survivors were taken to the hospital for treatment when the police worked on the scene. Officials have not yet announced their conditions.

The investigators said the shootout occurred during a meeting or party.

“This heartbreaking violence is a painful memory that we have to come together as a community in order to protect our neighborhoods and our youth,” wrote the Mayor of Chester, Stefan Roots. “The city of Chester will not be idle, while senseless actions of the weapons of families deprive families of their relatives. We are striving to support our police department in the search for those responsible and to invest in the solutions that bring permanent peace to our city.”

No arrests were made at the shootout and the police have not published any information about suspects. They continue to examine.
