The Mcallen police said he was against another driver, the 54-year-old Juan Carlos Perez, who also died in the crash.

People who knew corraustos demanded a peaceful protest because they say that the 600,000 dollar bond on aguirre is too low.

“I have the feeling that $ 300,000 is not only for Gian, but they also gave him $ 300,000 for the man, Juan,” said Francis Gina Tobias. “You could have given him $ 1 million, $ 2 million and $ 3 million so that he couldn't get out.”

According to Mcallen, the police accelerated Aguirre at the time of the crash and under the influence of alcohol.

CorraBustos' friends say they want justice for him and they urge stricter punishments.

The Mcallen police say that the cause of the crash is still being examined.
