Here is a story about the semi-final victory of the TCU from the Fort Worth Star-Telegelegram (about the Tribune News Service):

TCU Baseball sent a message with his commanding 11-1 win against Kansas in the semi-finals of the Big 12 tournament on Friday evening in the Globe Life Field.

The Horned Frogs will compete against Arizona in the championship game on Saturday at 7 p.m. (EST).

It was the fourth victory in a row against the Jayhawks this season when TCU achieved a sweep on the Lupton Field in April. The victory against Kansas should also significantly increase the chances of the Horned Frogs to organize a region in the NCAA tournament.

Before the semi -finals, the latest projections from D1Baseball fell the Horned frogs after Tennessee Texas had astonished at the SEC tournament.

However, the dominance of the TCU via a TOP 25-Jayhawks team served as a memory that the resume of the Horned Frogs should not be overlooked.

The TCU opened the game in the second inning after the Jayhawks were put in the lead in the first 1-0. Chase Brunson, Anthony Silva and Jack Bell went together in four runs, including Bell driving with a double -Link field.

On the hill, the Freshman Pitcher Mason Brassfield was solid in his debut after the season when he hit five batteries and only gave up two goals and a deserved run.

Brassfield was pulled into the fourth top with over 70 parking spaces, and the heard frogs leaned on Louis Rodriguez to get control of the lead.

Rodriguez got a thrust from Sawyer Strosnider and Cole Cramer in the fifth when Cramer's victim flying in the Big 12 newcomer of the year drove to extend the lead to 5-1. Strosnider campaigned in the goal position by picking up his tenth theft of the season after he had put himself on the base.

The pressure assembled Rodriguez in the fifth when the Jayhawks loaded the bases and the opportunity to tie the game, but the junior pitcher came up with a clutch when he exit a fly.

The horned frogs drove in six other runs in the eighth run to put the game away.

Bell ended with a game with five RBIs, while Cramer added two. Rodriguez won the victory with four rashes and only three approved goals.

Together with the Big 12 title, the Horned Frogs strive for a repayment against the wildcats after Arizona defeated TCU 2-1 in her three player series in early May.
