A second star that the Mavericks have to target in the NBA design

The Dallas Mavericks are expected to select a player on the bottom of the NBA Draft Lottery this summer.

A player who could be available for the team is South Carolina, Collin Murray-Boyles, who is in 11th place from the ESPN draft analysts Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo.

“Murray boys will be an interesting case study for teams that are designed in the middle part of the first round, since the extreme contrasts between his strengths and weaknesses mean that it fits better for certain teams,” wrote Givony.

“Analytics-high-quality teams will be fascinated by how well it is rated in their design models, with its unique mixture of pass, free-throwing, skills and defensive playing, especially since it only becomes 20 in mid-June.

“Others may be concerned about its lack of size and 3-point shooting as well as the fact that his Gamecocks team had to struggle in the second game because they were clearly exceeded from the point of view of the talent.”

Murray boys will hear his name on June 25th on the first night of the NBA design.
