Hegseth – SD29 – blocks the press to stop DOD -LOWS

Some time ago there was a shock in the Pentagon with changes in the reporters stationed there, which only cover the DOD. It was spoken by Pentagon employees who were threatened with polygraphs to find out the information delicately. Now things are going much further in the area.

There are now restrictions where reporters can go out without an escort. Reporters cannot go to the hallway where Hegseth's office is located, “Without official approval and support from the assistant of the Defense Minister for Public Affairs.” This job is held by Sean Parnell, spokesman for the Top -Pentagon.

Newly restricted areas in addition to Hegseth's office are that of his helpers and all places in the entire Pentagon for the army press offices, the Navy, the Marine Corps, the Air Force and Space Force.

Reporters are also excluded by the branches of the high -ranking military pentagon leadership, including the newly appointed joint chiefs chairman Dan Caine, unless with approval and accompaniment.

The memo is “While the department for transparency is still obliged, the department is equally obliged to protect information and sensitive information (classified intelligent information), and the non -authorized disclosure could endanger the life of the US service members.”

The Iland Now worried with service members if he has put them in danger.

The Pentagon Press Association did not buy it. “There is no way to gloss over it. Today's memo by secretary Hegseth seems to know a direct attack on the freedom of the press and the right to know what it is doing.

Hegseth also said that reporters would sign a form for protecting sensitive information and issued a new badge that identifies it more clearly than the press. It was not clear whether the signing of the form would be a condition of the continued access to the building.

Hegseth is still upset about the leak of the meeting that Elon Musk would have in Pentagon about war plans against China. He has not yet held a press conference in the Pentagon. With the Pentagon for Reporters, which I previously mentioned, it was the space that was taken away by the media. The New York Times, NBC News, NPR and Politico were thrown out and replaced by an America News Network, the New York Post, the Breitbart News and Huffpost.

As a reporter asked why the Washington Post, CNN, the Hill and the war zone the Washington Post, the Washington Examiner, the Daily Caller and the Free Press were replaced by Newsmax, Washington Examiner and Free Press. Only Trump -friendly media allowed, except Huffpost. When Trump was recently asked by a Huffpost reporter and he asked who they were with and when he was told, he said: “I thought they died.”

On February 21, reporters were announced that they were banished from the press conference room, unless there was a press conference. This is complicated because it is one of the few places in the Pentagon on which WLAN works so that they can submit stories.

The freedom of the press no longer seems to exist in the Pete Hegseth Pentagon. Even the trump -friendly outfits have to deal with the new restrictions.

America has the right to know, but Hegseth doesn't care.

Here is the real memo. Note 5. Press the Pentagon Athletic Center anymore. Sure, people talk a lot when you pump iron. Not. You cannot read the memo online here.

I just noticed that “SD29” under his cancer signature. He is the 29th Minister of Defense. He has to think that it makes him cool like Trump's use of 45 and 47. Now I will search for the signatures of other cabinet officers to see if they are so aware of them. Or stupid.

So I looked through a few cabinet officers for signatures for official documents. It seems that Hegseth is the only one who finds his back. Pay.
