The 2025 BMW M3 competition is a German GT-R: Video Review

The E46 BMW M3 has one of the highest stature in the entire automotive history. It is the one in which every M3 is assessed, apart from the E30 and almost general. There is no M3 for the average BMW fan that matches the original magic of this car. I think that the latest facelifting for 2025 (LCI to BMW nerds) is that M3.

For our latest YouTube video I had to drive the latest M3. And I was pleasantly surprised. I would hear arguments for more interesting or exciting M3S, but the G80 generation is one of the most complete since the E46 – and I think it finally hits the chord of excitement. Strange because I was one of many journalists who defeated the ugly drum on the Buck-Tooth G80. I almost hate that the car has proven me as wrong, but the earliest variants of the car were at best okay.

It is a question of technology. This is the first generation of M3 with all-wheel drive, the latest refinement of a large number of integrated chassis systems such as adaptive dampers, braking vectoring and advanced traction control. It is as technologically used that the tuning of the systems is as important as the tuning of feather rates and Sway bars. After all, the 2025 G80 is the M3 Perfection after a few years.
