Fatal crash closes south of Floridas Turnpike in Davie

Davie, Fla. – According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a fatal crash closed all lanes from Floridas Turnpike in Davie on Saturday afternoon.

The crash occurred shortly before 3 p.m. near Mile Marker 53, north of the 54 exit for I-595, State Road 84 and US 441.

Details about age, gender and identity of the victim were not published.

The authorities said that all lanes towards the south were temporarily closed and traffic was secured in front of the military marker 57. The on-ramp was also closed when the emergency team reacted.

The drivers were asked to avoid the area or to look for alternative routes.
