Charles Barkley changes to 'Inside the NBA' at working with ESPN

Charles Barkley was not particularly enthusiastic In the NBA's Future on ESPN.

While Barkley, Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O'Neal TNT Sports employees are to remain, the network losing its NBA rights after the 2024–25 season, the show is licensed to ESPN, which maintains its partnership with the league. NBC and Prime Video are also broadcast NBA games.

Barkley has floated between the joke about his future over ESPN's air waves and the idea he did not move. He also has a long story in which he says he will withdraw from the radio, as documented by Sports media watch last year.

His melody changed a little when he was held for a street interview with the comedian based in New York and the journalist Adam Glyn in the middle of the final of the New York Knicks compared to the Indiana Pacers. Barkley went so far that the company with ESPN will be an “honor and privilege”.

“I'm just trying to find out how we will work on ESPN in the future,” said Barkley to Glyn when we were asked about the future before he confirmed that he is “excited” by moving.

“It's me. It's a great opportunity, we just have to find out the dynamics,” he said. “But it will be an honor and privilege to work with ESPN.”

The time will show how long this relationship lasts and how involved Barkley will be at ESPN In the NBABut it certainly seems that network president Jimmy Pitaro was the right thing this week when he said that the show will “hold the band together” to summarize the broadcaster.
