The Top China Influencer incorrectly accuses the head of sexual harassment to end the contract, loses a lawsuit

An online influencer in China with more than 30 million followers was banished and ordered from social media to pay their former boss a compensation after a court had decided that she had invented a rumor to be sexually harassed by him.

On the two leading social media platforms of China, she had a total of 33 million followers before the legal conflict broke out.

At the end of 2020 she published videos in which Sun Haoyu, the owner of her agency Qinhuangdao Chidu Entertainment, accused of sexually harassing and forced to sign arbitrary documents.

Sun denied the allegations and submitted a lawsuit against Liu.
