Brett Jedwabny's return to Appleton began to meet the first aiders from the day of his gullet accident at Feuerwache 6.

This crew led an official escort home, where board was sitting in the fire engine.

When they arrived in the house, dozens of Brett's closest friends and family were there to greet him again in the place where he grew up.

Brett's father Tyler says that it is a positive step on the way to recovery to bring him back to Appleton, and the family is only happy to be at home for the next chapter of this trip.

“He will still need help, this is only part of the trip when he comes home. But everyone here played an important role. It was great to celebrate board, but for us the ability to thank every person who was here that the world mean as a family,” says Tyler.
