The man was looking for the killed cyclist who was killed in hit-and-run

Bedford County, Va. (WDBJ)-a cyclist is dead after a hit-and-run Saturday, May 24th.

According to the police, a cyclist was on the 3900 block of the Nemmo Road at 1:30 p.m. The police say that a driver of a silver/gray color pickup with a small black supply trailer crossed the center line and hit the cyclist.

The driver left his vehicle to see after the injured cyclist before driving the scene in his vehicle south on the Nemmo Road towards Route 24. The police say that the vehicle damaged the driver's mirror, the front left headlight and the front fender.

A witness at the scene said that the driver was a Hispanic or possibly Indian man, who, according to the police, is about 30 to 40 years old with a short, dark, brown/black, curly hair.
