Nine graduates in 2020 wrote a letter to the administrators in which the training of anti-racism in West Point was part of the curriculum.

Five years later, West Point corresponds to the Executive Ordinance of the Second Trump government to ban diversity, justice and inclusion or DEI programs in the military. In February, the US Military Academy dissolved a dozen cadet clubs that was around racing and gender, including the Asian-Pacific Forum Club, the National Society of Black Engineers Club and the Club of the Society of Women Engineers.

The order prohibits breed or gender-based preference in part of the US military and heads the Defense Minister Pete Hegseth to carry out internal reviews of DEI initiatives. During the campaign, the President vowed to get rid of “Woke” military generals and restore a merit -based system.

“She was an officer with whom I served who was bright, hard and incredible for her work,” said Vance.

He admitted that not all graduates shared his policy, but he was still for her.
