Mets even series with Dodgers (highlights)

The New York Mets (31-21) equipped their series on Saturday evening in the Citi Field with the Los Angeles Dodgers (32-20) and drove an outstanding excursion from David Peterson and a Clutch-Double by Juan Soto to secure a 5-2 win.

Peterson delivered its best season start and was only the second Mets pitcher, which in 2025 applies at least seven innerings. He silently shudd the heart of the Las line, hit Shohei Ohtani three times and held Freddie Freeman Hitless. The left -handers distributed five goals and two runs over 7.2 Innerings while they were seven.

The Mets in the fourth broke off after they fell back 2-1. Luis Torrens started the rally with a single, and with two outs, consecutive walks loaded the bases. Starling Marte's Infield Dribbler brought the binding run home, and Soto followed with a rocket into the right middle for a double with two runs that finally brought the METs.

Brett Baty put his strong game with an RBI single in the second and an insurance double in the eighth. The Mets went 4: 11 with runners in the goal position, a welcome turn from the youngest fight.

Edwin Díaz was called up for a four-saving and delivered flawlessly, with the ninth out of the ninth to remain a perfect 11-by-11 chances.
