Crime leads to 43 arrests in Hillsborough County

Tampa, Florida (Wfla)-The office of the sheriff of the Hillsborough County made 43 arrests in a two-day operation on Thursday to remove illegal drugs and illegal firearms from the streets of Tampa.

In the course of the company, the MPs carried out 188 traffic stops and won a variety of narcotics, including fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and MDMA.

Among the confiscated objects were:

• 2.1 grams of oxycodon pills

Sheriff Chad Chron Minister emphasized the tireless commitment of the department to proactively maintain and enforce the law.

“Our mission is easy – protect the people in Hillsborough County,” said Sheriff Chron Minister. “If individuals threaten the security of our community through ruthless driving, weapon crimes or the trade in fatal narcotics such as fentanyl, our MPs act quickly and determined. These operations send a clear message: security in our neighborhoods is never affected.”

Under the arrested cases, the following top -class cases were:

• Dexter Myers, 58, was taken into account for an outstanding arrest warrant in connection with violation of his status as a registered sex offender

• Maxie Eddins (49) and Jenna Clary (32) were arrested after led the MPs on a high-speed tracking. According to HCSO, Clary allegedly had over 127 grams of fentanyl.

• Nicolas French, 31, is a documented MPR gang member who, according to MPs, was found in the possession of cannabis resin and various drug utensils. He has an extensive crime history and previously worked in a Florida prison for six years.

“These arrests reflect our commitment to the protection of families and the guarantee of the security of every community that we serve,” added Sheriff Chron Minister. “Through teamwork, intelligent enforcement and relentless follow-through-through, we build a safer Hillsborough County-one company.”
