Scottie Scheffler offers an injury update after taking a step in R3 by Charles Schwab Challenge

Scottie Scheffler returned with a solid 6-below 64 picture and, after the third round of Charles Schwab Challenge in the famous Colonial Country Club, gave a pleasant update for injuries.

The 28 -year -old Scheffler narrowly made the cut in his home state event in Ohio after happy rounds of 68 and 71.

But the PGA Tour superstar set his foot on the accelerator in the third round.

Scheffler ran for his round of 7, when he changed an eagle on Par-5 11.

“I played nicely today, the golf course is becoming more difficult when you make the curve and play in the wind again,” said Scheffler.

“I did some sloppy bogeys on the back nine that hurt but have done some good things, and we will see how things shake things in the ranking, but I don't think I will get a grip on tomorrow.

“I will see if I can precede the executives and post a number.”

Scheffler was flinched with pain after hit the second shot in second shirt in the second round in second place.
