I am new to these five television programs every year because they are so good

As a self-declared TV junkie, I have consumed hundreds of television series over the years. From crime dramas to sitcoms, these are the five that I visit again every year without failure.

There is nothing that I enjoy more than with the remote control, a plush ceiling and some nibbles for a TV show marathon on my couch. It is my guilty pleasure, and I don't scare one thing to confess.

Most of my evenings are either deepened into a book or glued to the television. After ulcerative colitis, an inflammatory bowel disease was diagnosed last year, activities such as travel, long walks and even pub visits.

Instead, I found comfort in television programs and films. Some of my most viewed shows are reality TV. Vanderpump Rules, married UK at first glance, and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are among my top picks.

It is irresistibly fascinating to observe a group of people who argue each other through the safety of my sofa and reduce life.

Although I have a weakness for reality TV, some of my favorite shows of all time are fictional series that I look at every year, sometimes several times a year, without failure.

As a self -proclaimed television addict, who has seen hundreds of television series, I am back every year.

1. Breaking Bad, 2008-2013

Breaking Bad has a place in the Guinness World Records as the TV show of all time celebrated by the criticism – and it is not difficult to understand why.

Designed and produced by Vince Gilligan, Bad Bad Bad Bad counts the life of Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a overqualified high school chemistry teacher, in which lung cancer was diagnosed in the stage.

Instead of accepting his fate and leaving his family center, Walt chooses a life with crime and consists of his former student Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) to manufacture and sell methamphetamine to finance his treatment and secure the financial future of his family. The series follows Walt and Jesse when they navigate through the criminal underworld while they deal with their personal issues.

Breaking Bad was broadcast from 2008 to 2013, but can be streamed on Netflix. I find myself Breaking Bad again several times a year.

For me, the show beats the perfect balance between humor, action and drama, while it questions my moral compass.

As soon as you start Break Bad, it is difficult to stop. Each episode is crucial for the action; There is no room for filler episodes here.

If you haven't seen it yet, what are you still waiting for?

2. The Sopranos, 1999-2007

I admit that I wasn't immediately enthusiastic about the sopranos. It is a slow burner, and I usually tend to show shows that deliver powerful, action -packed content directly from the bat.

However, I have stuck to it and now it is my favorite series of all time.

David Chase's Brainchild, the sopranos, introduces us in the New Jersey Mafia boss Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), who deals with panic attacks that impotent him. In order to continue to be ashamed, Tony reluctantly begins with the therapy with the psychiatrist Dr. Melfi (Lorraine Bracco), who urges him to research his childhood trauma, the influence of his mother and his home life in the middle of his illegal activities.

While the series unfolds, the viewers are drawn into Tony's complex world, including his interactions with his wife Carmela (Edie Falco), his mentee and his distant cousin Christopher Moltisanti (Michael Imperioli), his gang and his numerous “Gumars”.

The sopranos are considered one of the most pioneering and groundbreaking television programs of all time with a wealth of awards.

The depth of every character in the sopranos is something that I worship. Each character has its own defects, but as an audience member, despite the cruel deeds they carry out, they can search for redeeming characteristics in them.

3. Friends, 1994-2004

Although I am a child from ninety, I am only in my college years my first encounter with friends. Since then, Friends has become my comfort show that I can rely on when I am below and need a mood amplifier.

With Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt Leblanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, Friends concentrated on six buddies that navigate their late twenties and early thirties in New York City. The show examines its friendships as they deal with the ups and downs of life, from failed marriages to unexpected pregnancies, dead ends to sudden layoffs.

Friends was the idea of David Crane and Marta Kauffman and is known for his catchy opening mood “I will be there for you” from the Rembrandts.

While friends may only be a TV show, it has developed into a cultural sensation that influences hairstyles and even keywords that have penetrated popular culture. A study by the University of Toronto showed that the series had a significant influence on the English language, in particular through the emphasized use of “SO” as an adjective amplifier, which may accelerate a shift in American colloquial language.

4. Chernobyl, 2019

According to the 1986 catastrophic catastrophe, these gripping minisers deal with the consequences and cleanup in the 1986 catastrophe in the then Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic.

The five -part series was designed and written by Johan Renck by Craig Mazin and has an outstanding line -up, including Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgård, Emily Watson and Paul Ritter.

The series has received widespread praise for its historical accuracy, script, music scoring and outstanding achievements and entered three Emmy prices for outstanding limited series, outstanding direction and outstanding writing. At the Golden Globe Awards, the series received the best ministry or television film award, while Skarsgård took home the best supporting actor of a series, a mini series or a television film award.

While Chernobyl may seem like a strange choice for the annual consideration, I believe that it is a crucial piece of European history that must not be forgotten. The series not only deals with the catastrophe of the nuclear power plants, but also with the systemic failures of the USSR, the stories of those who reacted and lost their lives, and the stories of volunteers, miners and scientists who cited the clean -up work.

Despite its shattering moments, it is a real proof of the strength and resilience of individuals and communities in a national crisis.

5. Mr. between, 2018-2021

After my first o'clock last year I was enthusiastic about Mr. Inbet, and I loved it so much that I have already revised it this year.

The Aussie Black Comedy Crime drama revolves on Raymond 'Ray' Shoesmith (Scott Ryan), a contract killer who tries to juggle his illegal profession with his personal life. The show is dark and yet interrupted with moments of cheerfulness, as the audience of Ray's attempts follow to be a good father for Brittany, to manage a tense relationship with his ex-wife Jacinta, to be a thoughtful friend and to take care of his brother Brother Bruce.

Ray often falls back on violence to solve disputes, but this approach begins to wear it in his circle.

The series has an impressive evaluation of 95% critics and a 98% audience assessment for Rotten tomatoes and is a fascinating and unique creation by Scott Ryan and director Nash Edgerton, which has largely flew under the radar.
