Man killed, woman in Marianna shooting The Arkansa's democrat gazette

According to a press release from the Arkansas State Police, one person was killed and another injured in a Friday in Marianna.

Kendrick Williams, 36, from Forrest City died of wounds that had suffered from the shootout near the intersection of the streets of West Mississippi and South Alabama, according to the press release. The area is about half a mile west of Marianna.

A 39-year-old woman was taken to a hospital with injuries who do not consider the authorities to be life-threatening.

The publication did not name the woman or did not identify any suspects at the shootout. The Marianna police applied for the state police for support for the investigation.
