2025 NBA, NHL Playoffs Best Betting: Back Clipper, Avalanche to start hot

Many of them know me as a football type when it comes to placing bets. And yes, I played in the NFL and love the league and college football, but I enjoy the entire spectrum when it comes to sport.

Especially when it comes to playoff ball – or puck in some cases.

Since we all look at the exciting action of the NBA and NHL playoffs, I decided to do some research and give them places that I like the most for the games on Thursday.

Let's take a look.

Denver nuggets @ La Clipper

This was a fantastic series. We saw summer buildings, come-from-heart victories and a few games that have come out of control for the home team.

The Nuggets appear with a 3-2 lead in game 6 after defeating the Clippers 131-115 in game 5. Now the series is transformed into game 6 and the clipper are at home in a must-win situation. In these situations, I always make use of the entire game in the first quarter, in which the better team can end up.

Wagers in the first quarter in the NBA playoffs are my favorite. In game 1 scenarios, the home team tries – which is often better than his opponent to start quickly in front of his crowd. Six of the eight home teams reported about the first quarter of round 1 in this post -season.

I also use the same theory for games in game 3, in which the home team is back in its own place and this fan energy feeds on the fan energy at an early stage. The home team comprised only half of the first quarters in game 3 in this post.

As soon as the series for games 5, 6 or 7 has been reached, there are targeted ways to take first quarters if the home team has to win.

The Clippers have to win on Thursday evening. And I am starting to start quickly – just like in game 3 when they led the nuggets by seven points after a quarter.

Selection: Clipper (-2.5) to lead more than 2.5 points at the end of the first quarter

Tim Hardaway Jr. O/U Total

I am a great subscriber from the zigzag theory in the NBA night. One player is essentially subject and they take his over in the following game. This is not a bet that you do for every player who doesn't play well, but there are circumstances in which it makes sense.

Tim Hardaway Jr. fits the perfect shape for this bet. Hardaway is a player who scores almost 12 points per game on average and shows the tendency to make more shots and score more points at home. In this series, he scored 19, zero and eight points in the three street games and shot 4: 23 from the 3-point line in these three games. In the meantime, he scored 24 and 14 in the two home games of the pistons and played from 3 11 towards 25.

He made an eight-point game 5 with just a 3 pointer.

I like Hardaway to regain its shape in game 6.

Selection: Tim Hardaway Jr. to achieve over 12.5 points

Are the Knick's serious title candidates?

Vegas Golden Knights @ Minnesota Wild

I will stay away from the first game of the night in Ottawa, as the senators go 3: 3 into the Maple Leaf after 3: 3. The scar tissue of the failures of earlier Maple Leafs at this point is heavy on the franchise. Not a good bet in both directions.

The Golden Knights withdrawn the home ice with a game 5 to lead the series 3-2 after some inconsistent games as a serial favorite. The series now returns to Minnesota, with the game needs a victory to stay alive.

I like two bets in this game.

The first is a system game that I found with the kind permission of Jonathan Davis, host of “Ice Cap” at Siriusxm and a VSIN -NHL -Wettanalyst. At the time of the letter on Wednesday, the team, which lost the previous game, scored the first goal in 19 out of 29 games. So this is a record of 19: 10, whereby this series is 2: 2 in this trend.

I like the wilderness to make this trend 3-2 on Thursday evening.

The first goal was scored by the home team in four of these five games, and the game needs a victory to keep the series alive. You will try to score quickly to set the sound.

Selection: Wild (+105) to score first

The wild wing Kirill Kaprizov was a dominant force in this series. He had at least one point in all five games and went over 1.5 points in three competitions. He had templates in three games while scored goals in another three competitions. Kaprizov needs the wilderness to be outstanding again to return to Vegas for game 7.

Selection: Kirill Kaprizov (+145) over 1.5 points

Dallas stars @ Colorado avalanche

The same situation as the game above with the system game. It is a home team that needs a victory because it makes a defeat. In this series, the home team achieved first place in four of the five games, including the stars in the first 11 seconds of game 5, with a shot that reached the goalkeeper of the AVS before setting the net.

The lost team scored the first goal in three games. So let's go with the avalanche to score the first goal of this game.

Selection: Avalanche (-150) to score first
