Google Pixel 10 licks in front of the schedule and here is what it looks like

It looks like Google is preparing for the start of its next flagship smartphone, the pixel 10. Lecks from a commercial shoot for the upcoming device have appeared online and offer an early look at the design and potential new AI functions of the phone. The pictures contain photos behind the scenes from a professional video production and a storyboard that identifies the device as Google Pixel 10.

According to the tasty, this was a “full commercial shoot”, which indicates that the technology giant is deeply in the preparations for the official unveiling of the phone. In particular, the Pixel 10 campaign seems to run with the slogan: “Ask more of your phone”, a likely allusion to the new AI functions that Google recently introduced at its I/O 2025 developer conference.

Google Pixel 10 Design is leaked

While the Pixel 10 is officially unannounced, the leaked visuals indicate that the design of the Pixel 9 Pro exactly reflects. The handset in the shoot has a triple-lenens camera setup-one function, which has so far been exclusively for the Pro model-that Google standardizes the triple camera system in the entire Pixel 10 range.

With regard to the design, the Pixel 10 retains the familiar layout, whereby the network switch and the volume control are positioned in the same place as previous models. The device contained in the shoot seems to be the obsidian variant (black), one of the core colors that Google normally offers. In previous starts, the company has also introduced colors such as porcelain, peony and winter green.

Google traditionally starts its flagship smartphones in late summer, and the pixel 10 is expected to pursue the same timeline, with a possible debut in August 2025. The Pixel 9 series of the last year was started at about the same time, and the early start of marketing efforts indicate a similar schedule for this year.

In view of the latest AI announcements around the Gemini platform from Google under the I/O 2025, the Pixel 10 can be loaded with new generative AI functions. If the slogan “Questions of more of your phone” is a reference to information, users can expect deeper integration of AI tools and position the pixel 10 than just as an iterative upgrade.

One of the over-fiction functions includes a new “Video Generative ML” function, a Video editing function with AI-controlled video editing function, which is to be embedded in Google Photos. Additional innovations are “Speak-to-Tweak”, a spoken-controlled tool with which users can easily change images by issuing spoken commands, and “Sketch-to-Image”, a creative feature, the user-defined sketches into photo-realistic graphics, which can be seen in Samsung Galaxy Ai Suite. These upgrades underline Google's commitment to position the Pixel 10 as a flagship that focuses on the AI integration of the next generation.

Google Pixel 10 rumors

According to earlier leaks, the upcoming Pixel 10 by Google is expected to be powered by the new tensor G5 chipset with 12 GB RAM by default. In the meantime, the Pixel 10 Pro can offer an improved variant with 16 GB RAM that reflects the configuration, which can be seen in Pixel 9 Pro series.

A recently dissolved geekbench list has also illuminated the development process and shows that the tensor G5 is currently being tested on Android 15. According to Google's typical release strategy, the Pixel 10 line is probably pre-installed with Android 16 and mark the debut of the latest operating system.

On the imaging, concept trenders have indicated an ambitious triple-cama system. The proposed setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 64-megapixel-ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel-periscope-tele camera with potential support for up to 50 times digital zoom. However, it is important to note that these camera specifications come from conceptual works of art and not official sources, so that they should be treated with a certain degree of caution.

After a few months until the expected start, there will probably be further leaks. But for the time being, the commercial shoot has given the clearest look at what Google could bring onto the market later this year.
