Panthers scored five goals in the third period to blow Hurricanes 6-2, a victory from another cup final away

Sunrise, Fla. (AP) -Ten was bound 1: 1 to the third period. It turned into a blowout. And after a five-goal barrier fire, one like no other in the history of playoffs in Florida, the Panthers are a victory from their third trip to the Stanley Cup final.

Niko Mikkola and Aleksander Barkov each scored two goals, and Panthers, who were driven in nine minutes with five goals, rolled 3-0 on Saturday evening on the 6-2 lead past the best-of-seeven-Eastern Conference final.

Jesper Boqvist, who played for the injured Sam Reinhart, scored the go-a-haeAd goal for the Panthers, who received 23 parades from Sergei Bobrovsky at the beginning of the third goal for Florida and Brad Marchand.

“In the third period, we believe that we took it over,” said Barkov.

This is an understatement of the captain of the Panther.

Logan Stankoven and Seth Jarvis scored for Carolina, who has now set 15 consecutive East final games -by Pittsburgh in 2009, Boston in 2019, Florida in 2023, and is now on the sidelines of the IT.

Game 4 is Monday in Sunrise, Fla.

“You are certainly a good team,” said Carolinas Sebastian Aho. “But I have the feeling that we gave them the swing or a goal at the wrong time – and obviously they have made us pay.”

Florida's five goals in the third period were a club record for every playoff time and ruined, which Carolina seemed to change to change the goalkeeper in game 3.

Kochetkov stopped 14 out of 15 shots in two periods. The third, not so much. A tie game was in a hurry.

“I don't think that the way the games were played is really an indication of what the results were related to the score,” said Marchand. “They were pretty tight. It only seems as if we had a few bounces and a few happy breaks here and there that gave us a pretty good lead.”

Florida got a break to do it 1-0. Barkov threw a pass on the peat old.

It never arrived there. The pass of Mikkola steered Carolina defender Dmitry Orlov and Kochetkov, opened the rating and gave Florida a lead of 11: 2 to this point.

Stankoven, which was previously robbed in the game of Bobrovsky, bound it to the power play at 2:51 p.m. of the second, a kind of breakthrough for the hurricanes.

Brent Burns shot near the blue line that Bobrovsky lasted. The rebound jumped off Bobrovsky's leg and stankoven steered it home to make it 1-1, the first tie in the series, except 0-0 to start the games.

But the third was like the majority of the series Florida.

“We have to try to bring our best foot forward,” said Hurricanes trainer Rod Brind'amour. “I felt that we did it for two periods tonight.”
