12-year-old boy seriously injured in the ATV crash in Camden County

A 12-year-old boy from Climax Springs was seriously injured on Saturday evening during an ATV crash in Camden County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the crash on the Dodds Camp Road at Prospect Place took place at 5:30 p.m.

According to the online crash report, the crash occurred when the 12-year-old drove a Suzuki ATV in the south in the south in 2002, drove from the left side of the street, crossed a private trip, then went into a stream bed and hit a tree.

The boy was brought to Lake Regional Hospital with a ambulance with a ambulance. A 17-year-old boy from Higginsville also drove on ATV and went to the Lake regional hospital with minor injuries.

The 12-year-old wore a helmet and the 17-year-old at the time of the crash, the report said.
