2 OAK Creek residents who are dead in Marinette County on Friday evening, says Sheriff

Stephenson, WIS – according to the Sheriff office of the Marinette County, three people, two from Oak Creek, are dead after a crash on Friday evening.

The crash occurred on Friday, May 23, at 9:22 p.m. on County Highway A in the Moonshine Hill around the city of Stephenson.

According to the law enforcement agency, Daniel W. Mrotek, a 60-year-old from Berlin, Wis, he traveled west in the Moonshine Hill. When he did not stop at a stop sign and collided with a vehicle, he drove north in the county Hwy A.

The vehicle that drove north in the county of HWY A was occupied by driver Thomas J. Robe, a 71-year-old from Oak Creek, and passenger Sharon R. Robe, a 68-year-old from Oak Creek. Both suffered fatal injuries, the investigators say.

The Marinette County's office says Daniel Mrotek has not worn a seat belt and was expelled from the vehicle. He also suffered fatal injuries.

The crash is examined by Marinette County and the medical examiner's office in Marinette County.
