A 34-year-old man was on the sidewalk when a man of unknown age beat him, the police said.

The victim was brought to the Northwestern Hospital in a serious condition.

The suspect fled from the scene in an unknown direction.

Nobody is in custody and examine the five detectives in the region.

The police did not provide further information immediately.
