The former Penn State recipient Julian Fleming was injured in fatal ATV crash

The former recipient of Penn State Wide, Julian Fleming, was seriously injured and a woman from Bloomsburg was killed in an ATV crash in Bradford County on Friday evening.

The state police in Tanda said that Alyssa Boyd was a passenger on an ATV that Fleming drove when he collided with a deer in the Painter Lick Lane in Columbia Township north of Troy at 8:13 p.m.

The 23 -year -old Boyd was declared dead at the crime scene and the 24 -year -old Fleming was brought to Guthrie Troy Community Hospital, the state police said. According to the state police, neither Fleming nor Boyd wore security equipment.

Fleming was a star at the Southern Columbia High School and rated number 1 in recruitment class 2020. He played four seasons in the state of Ohio before spending last season in Penn State, where he caught 14 passes for 176 yards and a touchdown.

He signed the Green Bay Packers as unaffected Free Agent, but reports that he failed his physical hip and back injuries.

The state police said she continued her investigation of the crash.
