South Bend, Ind. (Wndu) – The unity of violent crimes in South Bend of the South Bend police authority is now examining a shootout in which two people were wounded.

The South Bend police were called yesterday at 9:30 p.m. on the city's northwest side in the 100 block of the S. Meade Street to get a report on fired shots.

The officials found a female victim with an obvious gunshot wound when they arrived, and had them taken to the hospital for non -life -threatening injuries.

The officials were then advised on a second victim who went to the Memorial Hospital with an apparent firing wound that was not life -threatening.

During the examination, the officials found that several vehicles and houses were damaged by the apparent shots.

The unity of South Bend's police crimes is currently investigating this incident.
