Florida man Alfonzo Riser stabs father Tyrone Riser with sword to death before being fatally shot by Palm Beach

A man from Florida was shot by a MP after the police said he allegedly stabbed his father to death with a sword.

According to the Sheriff's office in Palm Beach County, the MPs reacted to the 6400 block of the Emerald Dune Drive at around 3 a.m.

When the MPs arrived at home, they found Alfonzo Riser (20), who stabbed his father Tyrone Riser (52) with a sword.

After the suspect had given orders to drop the gun, the MP said that the suspect was rejected and prompted a deputy to shoot the son.

Judith McCoy lives in the building compared to the incident and was stunned by the news.

“I can't imagine a son attacking his father,” said McCoy. “I'm shocked about it, very shocked and sad. It's sad, so sad.”

Both the father and the son who lived in the complex died of their injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation in which the PBSO Department of Violence Crimes, the Palm Beach County public prosecutor and the Ministry of Criminal Service Authorities in Florida are involved.

PBSO said they included the deputy on the paid administrative vacation per department directive.
