Dallas opened the series with a 6: 3 victory, but Edmonton shot back on Friday with a 3-0 win to improve the final of the Western Conference.

Edmonton climbed to the board in the first period when Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored his fifth goal of the post-season and benefited from a game of power. This goal gave the Oilers an early lead, one that held for the rest of the game.

The team scored two points twice in the second period, with the gates standing apart within two minutes. Brett Kulak scored his first goal of the playoffs, followed by Connor Brown, who increased the Oilers 3-0.

Evan Bouchard had a few templates in the game for Edmonton.
