Man who was critically injured when shooting Chesterfield

Chesterfield County, va. – The police published a description of a suspect in a shootout, in which a man was critically injured in Chesterfield on Saturday evening.

According to Lt. Joel Nilsen from the Chesterfield police were called in the 2400 Block of the Vicki Court for a report about a shootout shortly before 11.40 p.m.

“When the officers arrived, they found an adult man who had been shot,” said Nilsen. “The officials have provided the victim to a local hospital with life -threatening injuries.”

The police described a man who had a face mask, gray pants and a black coat while shooting.

Officials said their investigation of the crime had not yet been completed.
