Panchkula: As part of its continuous efforts to prevent crime and accelerating investigations, the police in Panchkula consider a number of measures. An important meeting in this regard was given by DCP (crime) Amit Dahiya in the Mansa Devi office on Sunday. Employees from different departments were asked to use modern web portals and AI apps in order to make monitoring quickly, more efficiently and more transparent.DCP Dahiya presented a video presentation to bring the point home that the proper use of modern police can help the police to achieve criminals in a shorter time and to improve their overall function. He emphasized that in today's digital age for the police, it is essential to be technically equipped and qualified in order to tackle crime and investigation.He pointed out how cyber criminal new and shocking tricks use, said that the police staff will stay up to date and have to stay attentive to outsmart them. He also shared some important tips on cyber security, e.g.When he speaks of the “Sanchar Saathi” app, he explained how lost or stolen mobile phones can be blocked with this app, which can be made unusable in any network. “It also shows how many SIM cards are registered under your name. If someone uses a SIM -SIM fraudulent, you can identify and report them with the TAFCOP portal,” he said
