Coroner IDS man, who was shot in Darlington County

Darlington County, SC (WMBF) – The forensic doctor of Darlington County publishes the name of the man who was killed at a shootout early Wednesday morning.

The forensic doctor Todd Hardee said that he had spoken to Shaquille Wright, 28, from Lamar, dead at the scene of the shootout.

The MPs of the Sheriff office of Darlington County reacted to the 1000 block of the West Lynches River Road near Davis Street for the shootout. Hardee added that the shootout took place around 2:05 a.m.

The sheriff of Darlington County, Michael August, said the shootout also injured several people.

No exact number of people were injured. The Sheriff's office explained that it could not publish any further information at that time.

DCSO, the forensic doctor and the Law Enforcement Division of South Carolina examine the shootings.
