The telemetry in video game style helped to see how Mustang smashed the Nürburgring round

Ford used telemetry in video game to show how his Mustang GTD Supercar shaved five seconds from the previous lap time around the Nürburgring.

The Blue Oval recently sent the Mustang Supercar into the famous German race track to see exactly how quickly it could go.

The GTD was the first American production car that broke the seven -minute barrier and proved to be as quickly as the Porsche 918 Spyder Hypercar.

After this run, the GTD returned to the circuit and Ford was able to shave an incredible five seconds behind its lap time, with some interesting technologies being used.

The integrated film material of the original round was very impressive, and the driver Dirk Müller for both rounds behind the steering wheel.

The original round was a spectacle in itself, with the GTD set for a time of 6 minutes and 57.685 seconds.

However, the blue oval was firmly convinced that more performance could be obtained from its fearsome super sports car.

So Ford Müller sent out again and he took an incredible five seconds behind his original lap time.

This meant that the new record for an American production car around the Nürburgring is currently 52.072 seconds.

To highlight how quickly the Mustang GTD went, Ford produced a special video of the two rounds.

The video had to see both, as well as a Ghost car overlay on the original material to present the improvement.

A ghost car can often be seen in racing games.

It shows a ghostly version of your car that runs your previous fastest round while trying to go faster.

You not only have fun, but also useful to show where they went faster than the earlier round.

If the ghost car is pulled in front of the original round, it is clear to see where the Mustang has made so much time on its second attempt through the German race track.

The Mustang GTD has a massive, charged 5.2-liter V8 engine under the bonnet, which does 800 hp.

So it is no surprise that the car is so fast.

It is really impressive to record two lap records in the Nürburgring and shave so much time.

Ford should be welcomed to the construction of such a amazing super sports car.
