Jaylen Brown is still considering an operation for meniscus injury

Celtics star Jaylen Brown Has not made a final decision about whether he has operated on the divisions of meniscus in the Menskus since March, Noa Dalzell writes from the Celtics blog.

Brown discussed the injury during an appearance on Saturday in Boston to promote his latest sneaker line. Dalzell notes that it was his first public appearance since the Celtics in their playoff series of the second round were upset about the Knicks.

“I got a lot of doctors with whom I have to be rated – see the potential for an operation compared to the operation. Wait to speak to that [Celtics] Organization,” Said Brown. “At the moment it is only calm and recovery. I take a step back from a long season. It was mentally a lot of things that were going on.”

Brown had another outstanding individual season with an average of 22.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 63 games and has been selected as an all-star for the fourth time in the past five years. However, the team missed the opportunity to defend his NBA title, and Brown admitted that he had now “expected to play” instead of leading the start of the shoe.

Browns Sneaker line is unique because he set up his own brand entitled 741 Performance in September instead of signing an established company. In addition to the shoes, it offers a wide clothing line, and Brown hopes that other athletes will inspire to pursue similar activities.

“Just to really get it out is there a performance” he said. “Just to take the path of independence and to found your own brand … For a top -class athlete you don't see it too often, especially in this phase in my career. It is a great risk in it, but I wanted the next generation to know that it is possible.”

The Celtics enter into a summer of uncertainty, whereby numerous reports indicate that some players with high salt cladding are traded to facilitate the team's luxury tax bill. There was some speculation that Brown could be among them due to his Super Max Treaty, but he hopes that he can stay and the team can lead back to the title contention Jayson Tatum Return from his Achilles surgery.

Brown spoke to the fans about the team's prospects for the next season on Saturday and said he was motivated by her support for his company. Dalzell explains that Brown is planning to spend most of the summer for the first time in his career in Boston.

“I am a lot in the community, but I tend to be even more in the community.” Said Brown. “I'm just trying to touch this community and be nearby, to be available for the city of Boston.”
