SRH hit the third highest IPL score

Sunriser's Hyderabad scored 278, the third highest score in IPL history when they hammered Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League.

Heinrich Klaasens exceptional 105 out of 39 deliveries inspired Sunrisers Hyderabad a total of 278-3 against Kolkata Knight Riders, the third highest team score in IPL history.

Travis Head hit 76 out of 40 balls when the Sunrisers cut and exhibited a total number that was comfortable enough to achieve a massive victory.

The Knight Riders were never the chance to pursue their goal, and was finally triggered for 168 with eight deliveries that still lose 110 runs.

Hyderabad made the story with its first Innings efforts, whereby Head and Klaasen made 28 boundaries between them, including 15 six.

Abhihek Sharma scored 32 and Ishan Kishan 29 in the star acts, but it was Klaasen's century, the third most common in IPL history, which will be remembered forever.

Jaydev Unadkat, Eshan Malinga and Harsh Dubey took all three gates when Kolkata unsuccessfully tried to stand close to the goal.

Sunil Narine brought his side to a quick start and achieved 31 out of 16 deliveries, but when he was released after 21 balls with 37: 1, there was no way back.

The result made hardly a difference to the overall result of the tournament, with both sides already possible.

Klaasen raised three figures from 37 deliveries, with only Chris Gayle (30 balls) and Vaibhav Suryavanshi (35 balls) ever hit faster centuries in the history of the IPL.

The South African star had raised its 50 of only 17 balls, and its innings produced a total of seven four and nine six.

It made a big contribution to the third-highest IPL team score ever, with Hyderabad making all four best sums of this list.
