Republicans should “question Trump's intellectual sharpness”

After Donald Trump's bizarre speech to West Point graduates, where the president ranges from yachts and trophy to pull shows and golf, Jasmine Crockett asks the Republicans to “call him up and to question his intellectual sharpness and whether he is equipped or not to serve mentally”.

“I do not think that those who have gone through West Point expects their commander -in -chief to speak to them and start talking about trophy women or speaking as he has as many examinations,” she said. “What a great memory that they are not qualified as the person who may be commanding troops to go to war. This is no trust.”

“It is time for Republicans to call him and question his intellectual sharpness and whether he can serve for mentally or not,” added Crockett. “We know when it comes to his crime, he is not qualified to serve, but this is absolutely unfortunate.”

When Trump in West Point spoke about real estate developer Bill Levitt, he said: “He was divorced, found a new woman. Could you say a trophy woman? I think we can say a trophy woman. But that didn't work so well, I have to tell you. Many trophy women did not make him so happy.

Trump added: “But he found a new woman. He sold his little boat and got a big yacht.”

At a time when there is a lot of reporting on the cognitive status of former President Joe Biden, thanks to a recently published book by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, who were criticized by Jon Stewart because they did not publicly report the facts in the book earlier. In the meantime, others have pointed out that Trump's mental state seems comparatively worse than bidens last term.

Here are some other gemstones of wisdom that the President conveyed during his speech in West Point's class from 2025:

  • “The task of the US armed forces is not to organize Drag shows, to change foreign cultures, but to spread democracy at the point of a weapon all around the world.”
  • “The whole stealth thing – I somehow wonder. We shape a wing in this way, they don't see it, but as they see it? I'm not so sure.”
  • “We have freed our troops from split and humiliating political training. There will be no more critical racial theory or transgender for everyone who is forced to brave men and women in uniform – or for any other – in this country. We will not have men who play in women's sports.”
  • “I was investigated more than the large late alphonse capone. Alphonse Capone was a monster. He was a very hardened criminal. I have gone through more investigations than alphonse Capone, and now I'm talking to them as president. Can you believe that?”
  • “To be successful, you always have to work hard. A great example is a great athlete, Gary player, big golfer. He was not as big as the other men who played against him – great, big, strong boys – Gary was a smaller guy. He is a friend of mine, he gets a little angry with people. He beats the ball so far.”

Trump broke up with tradition and refused to stay at the ceremony to shake the hands of the West Point graduates.

Crockett also criticized the fact that the Republicans were adopted by Bill House last week and said that the “cruel calculation” was not doing anything for regular Americans and ensured that “the top earners have their next trophy woman or buy their next yacht or receive their next plane”.

“It doesn't work for me. And that obviously doesn't work for my voters,” she said.
