Michelle Mones Ex-Lawyer denied her that she should lie on links to a company affected by scandal.

Jonathan Coad insisted that Scots Bra Tycoon's claim, he did, was “not true”.

The 53-year-old Baroness Mone blamed him for her three-year refusal to confirm her connection to the PPE MedPro, which was given £ 200 for the Covid Protection Kit and is now examined by police officers.

Mr. Coad, 67, said: “I did not advise her that she should keep her commitment secret.

“The proposal she did by obtaining the advice of her lawyers are simply not true.

“Having the Baronin Mone to explain allegations against me for serious inappropriateness may have been very harmful.”

He added: “I apologized to the media for unintentionally misleading them.

“I explained that everything I said was based on instructions that I received.

“I received a harmful letter from your current lawyers, in which I complained that I have announced confidential information through my apology.

“I don't think I did it.”

Mr. Coad spoke to the new documentary of the Scottish sun, Michelle Mone: lingerie, Lies and the PPE scandal.

The 60 -year -old Peer and the husband Doug Barrowman, both born in Glasgow, deny misconduct.
