Pickens Hurl's shutout, Dodge only offers run and tennessee tops Nebraska 1-0 to win super regionally

Knoxville, tenn. (AP) -Karlyn Pickens threw a two-hit shutout, Ella Dodges First-Ining Homerun delivered the only run, and Tennessee, No. 7, defeated 1-0 with 1-0 on Sunday to win the Knoxville Super regionally.

The two-time second pitcher of the year pick struck 10, went one and hit two batteries. Her era fell below 1.00 and is located in the Women's College World Series at 0.96. Tennessee (45-15) will make his ninth trip to the WCWs.

Dodges two-out solo Homerun in the first inning brought Tennessee 1-0 in the lead. On Saturday she met a Homerun with two runs and Tennessee won the second game of the series 3-2.

Pickens created a Jam in the fifth inning when Hannah Camenzind sinks and took second place on a wild field. Pickens hit the next dough and threw another wild field, with the runners in second and third place. Abbie Squier ruled out that Ava Bredwell went to load the bases, and Lauren Camenzind ruled out to end the threat.

It was the only time that Nebraska progress a runner across the first basis.

Nebraska (43-15) has eight earlier appearances in the WCWS, although one was later cleared by the NCAA.
