State police examined fatal crash on LA. 14

Lake Charles, La. (KPLC) – The state police are investigating an accident with two vehicles that has the life of a man Charles -mann on Saturday.

The crash claimed the life of 25-year-old Jacob Hummel, according to Louisiana State Police Public Affairs Trooper Matt Gaspard

GasPard said that the crash was taking place in La 14 near the left -wing car on Saturday at around 2 a.m.

The investigators say that Hummel drove a truck south this morning in La 14. At the same time, another truck was led south when the driver tried to make a turnaround for unknown reasons and drove directly into Hummel's way before he hit the side door of Hummel's truck.

Hummel, who was properly held back at the time of the crash, received deadly injuries and died at the scene. The driver of the jeep was also properly held back and received critical injuries.

The crash is examined.
