Watch Alana Haim in the first clip by Kelly Reichardts The Mastermind

After his premiere at the 2025 Film Festival in Cannes, Kelly Reichardt's upcoming new film The mastermind received his first official preview. In the clip in which the co-stars Josh O'Connor and Alana Haim can be seen, O'Connor steals a toy soldier figure from a museum case, while Haim stays with their children. Take a look at it below.

In addition to The mastermindAlana Haim will appear in Kristoffer Borgli's The drama and Paul Thomas Anderson's's One battle after another. Next month she will publish the next Haim album, I give upnext to their sisters. The follow-up until 2020s Women in music Pt. III was led by the singles “relationships”, “everyone tries to find out” and “down to be wrong”. According to the band's Instagram, a fourth track arrived later this week. In September, Haim will take a tour of Great Britain and North America.
