Hwy 117 closed after a big crash

NATCHITOCHES Parish, La. (Calf) – The Sheriff's office of Natchitoches Parish reported that the HWY 117 near Bellwood is closed after a big accident with two vehicles on Sunday, May 25th.

According to reports, the authorities reacted to the crash on Sunday at around 7 p.m. on Sunday, south of the Bellwood Church Road.

NPSO said there were victims with life -threatening injuries.

The authorities said that due to the severity of the crash, Hwy 117 was temporarily closed for traffic. The drivers are asked to avoid the scene and look for an alternative route.
