Warm trend temperatures are continued with dry conditions

Weather discussion: Warmer temperatures that can be seen today up to the low to the top 70s and low 80s. The sunny sky remains clear this evening with airy winds that will go through this evening. Most of these airy winds are mainly sitting in northern and eastern areas with gusts of up to 20 to 30 miles per hour. These winds will help keep the temperatures in most Plains locations in the mid-40s until the low 1940s.

Transientes Ridging will continue to rush through the day together with a short wave that increases the shower and thunderstorm development on Monday afternoon/evening. Areas along the Lewistown to Fort Benton to the Shelby Line will take the most chances of this precipitation. A strong increase in the warm air will use the northeast in front of the short wave and the temperatures around 5 degrees warmer than today. Breezy and Böiger south to the southeast winds are expected this evening to Monday evening due to this thrust warm air.

The ridge of the upper level increases the temperatures above average the day on Tuesday, although it cools down a bit than on Monday. There will still be a chance that numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible again on Tuesday with higher reporting.

The temperatures warm another 5-10 degrees on Thursday and usually remain in the upper 70s to upper 80s. While an isolated shower/storm cannot be completely excluded on Thursday, most locations stay dry. A quick -moving disturbance on Friday offers “better” opportunities for showers and storms that build through the weekend the week in front of another comb, and helps to push the temperatures back into the 80s up to almost 90 degrees, with the mostly dry conditions returning.
