Trump's DC Prosecutor, a former J6 defender, holds a session to tackle crime on the Capitol Hill

Ed Martin, the reigning US lawyer of DC, will meet with legislators and other local interest groups in his office on Thursday to address crime on Capitol Hill.

In a letter from Martin von preserved by Washingtoner, Aimed at “Capitol Hill Friends”, he writes: “I write this letter because you or a member of your office have victims of crimes in Washington, DC, or a certain role or responsibility in solving this problem.”

Martin has been a preliminary US lawyer for DC since President Trump's inauguration and has been nominated to take on the role permanently.
