No scratchy post: Hennepin gas leak, which is assumed that it is itchy calves | is caused | 103.9 WLPO

When itchy, they scratch it.

This lesson in common sense was apparently learned by a calf or calves, and some people outside of Wednesday by Hennepin were scratched.

Shortly after 5:30 a.m., the Hennepin fire brigade was sent outside the city for a possible gas leak near Henning Lane. First aiders heard a hissing sound from a gas distribution head on a pasture. The system delivers natural gas for several houses. When they examined the problem, the crew took note of black hair on the edges of valves and test openings, and they found that a security cap had expired. They found that a smaller cattle or more than one through an Ameren housing had been achieved and actually scratched where it itched. Ameren has made repairs.

When firefighters dealt with the matter, they reported that some nearby cattle showed a mild interest in the examination, but apparently they were largely not marked by the excitement.
